My first computer was a Commodore 128, which I bought from a friend before the internet was completed, back in 1989 0r 1990. It was strictly a DOS (disc operated system) and programs were hard to find in my little town in Indiana. Being a curious fellow I sought info on programming in BASIC and was soon cranking out numbers games similar to slot machines and card games. I was also able to create lottery wheeling systems. Time passed and the internet came around. By then I was making silver jewelry in Tucson and wanted a web site to showcase my Southwest designs. In 1998 I found a woman who agreed to build my first site, but she had little time to maintain it. I was determined to find out how to maintain it myself, so I learned how to access the code behind a page and to make sense of it. I bought an HTML editor and a copy of 'HTML 4 Dummies' and soon was obsessed with all the possibilities of the internet. That first web site, Coyote Canyon, is still around but rather neglected, I'm afraid. In 2000 I moved to Southern California, opened an art gallery and began making web pages for the gallery. Neighborhood gallery friends found I could make a passable site so they asked me to put them on the internet too. Ginger Grayham was the first one, and Kathryn Chandler was the second. Those too, are still around. By working daily at creating, adding, editing, replacing, text and images from all the sites, I have become proficient at constructing attractive and effective web sites. I seek to learn something new daily, and I am confident in what I do. Since 2000 I have built dozens of sites. My web business, which started out of necessity, is growing because I charge a fair price for constructing, hosting, and maintaining web sites for individuals as well as small and medium businesses. I work with clients directly and make myself available 7 days a week for consultations and problem solving. You are invited to inspect the sites in the menu at the left of the page. They are constructed by hand, using elements of HTML, CSS, Java Script, and Flash. You are also invited to contact the owners of the sites for unbiased opinions of my service and pricing. Most have been clients for several years and express their satisfaction regularly. If you choose me your site will be properly built in a timely fashion. It will be optimized and submitted to dozens of search engines and I will be available to perform upgrades and edits whenever you need them. I look forward to working for you!
